In celebration of local talent and a shared love for Show Biz, The Vox Collective presents their first independent stage production at the Atterbury Theatre on Tuesday 25 February 2020. Vocalists and instrumentalists from The Vox Collective will be joined by the popular songbird, Corlea Botha.
The Vox Variety Show is a production that aims to showcase the musical gifts of some of the members of The Vox Collective. Working professionals by day, transform into multi-talented artists when the Collective comes together for stage and studio productions like The Classics-shows and Afrikaans is Groot. They are also seasoned session musicians, having worked on movie soundtracks and doing backing vocals for artists such as Coenie de Villiers and Laurika Rauch; as well as world renowned artists Patrizio Buane and Amira Willenhagen.
This, one night only production will treat the audience to an exciting genre display, capturing moments from film music, popular songs, local sounds, pure Classics and more! The Vox Collective and Corlea shares the stage with Mauritz Lotz (guitar), Denny Lalouette (bass), Vinnie Henrico (drums and percussion) and Gerrit Koorsen (cello).
Artists: Corlea Botha, Mauritz Lotz, Denny Lalouette, Vinnie Henrico and Gerrit Koorsen.
